The modern approach of Renato Corino is exemplified in the dark colour. Spice and red fruits are discernible in the nose and the palate has a core of concentrated fruit. There is a real depth and richness to the fruit with round tannins and some fresh acidity. It is easy to see the appeal of modern barolo and this example is very good.
