1995 Monte Real Reserva, Bodegas Riojanas, Rioja
A traditional bodega, producing wines with an almost Burgundian profile. Floral and lifted on the nose with a lovely texture, nice balance of fruit and secondary flavours, this would work wonderfully well with Christmas dinner. It is near impossible to find mature wine of this calibre at this price.
