Not really a museum piece, but a current listing at a Bodega which is renowned for the long cask ageing accorded to its best wines in 'historic vintages'. 1970 is one such year, and the wine was bottled as recently as 1998. Only 8,000 bottles were made. The wine offers an intense luxurious perfume, a smooth and harmonious complexity. An exciting wine with attack and a long, mellow finish. Unique and compelling. Serve at a moderate room temperature.
