2022 Xarel-lo, Can Sumoi, Penedès
A project between Cava’s renowned Pepe Raventós and his childhood friend Francesc Escala. This still white wine from Penedès shows that there is much more that this region has to offer than sparkling wine. Expect fennel and wild herb notes that are supported by citrus, blossom and green apple notes. The palate is lively with crisp acidity, with hints of salted almonds and ginger.
