2019 Txacoli, Señorio de Astobiza, Pais Vasco
On the nose notes of citrus peel and grapefruit pith, with plenty of freshly picked pear, and iodine character. The palate is crisp but not tart, with lovely grip on the finish. It’s saline, vibrant, and mouthwatering. As good as it gets, when served with simple fish.
