Released in only the best vintages, the 2012 is a real stand out and a joy to drink. Originating from an exceptional year, thanks to very low yields, the wine displays real concentration and complexity. A blend of 81% Tempranillo and 19% Mazuelo, the wine spends 34 months in American and French oak barrels. The grapes come from the renowned La Plana vineyard, sitting at nearly 500 metrets altitude on the Ygay Estate. Expect red berry fruits and wild strawberry perfume combined with dill and vanilla spice. The palate is juicy and rich, with sweet tannins combined with a long length.
