The 2009 growing season has produced a Gran Reserva of structure, power and intensity, with notes of baked herbs, dried plums and dark cherries. The tannins are fine and nicely judged, with a lick of sweet oak on the finish adding complexity. Another outstanding wine from the team at La Rioja Alta.
