Notes of dark berries and macerated cherry fruit come through on the palate, with a touch of crushed mint leaf on the finish. The tannins provide a strict framework, but are incredibly finely realised and ripe, and there is an attractive freshness on the finish that gives this wine an elegant lift and drive.
