2006 El Pison, Artadi, Rioja
Made from old-vine Tempranillo, this has an intriguing note of toasted oak, smoke and rich, ripe, dark berry fruit. On the palate, this is elegant with layers of dark fruits, stony minerality and oak-related toast. Beautifully balanced and seamless, this is mouthfilling, with a long finish.
