Roland Velich is the king of Blaufränkisch and every vintage brings greater precision and purity. This is a selection of the very best old-vine fruit from the vineyards in Neckenmarkt and Lutzmannsburg. There’s plenty of black cherry fruit with exotic spices, but it’s accented by delicate floral notes and a silky, fresh acidity. It’s incredibly concentrated, with elegant, graceful tannins.
