Heiligenstein, meaning rock of the saints used to be a cliff edge used for hunting. Amazing coolness of fruit and excellent definition here: this has a delicacy and purity. And then there’s lip-smacking salinity on the finish. Brilliantly precise, cool, and very fine indeed. This is so tightly coiled, but a finish that goes on for age.
