From east facing parcels in Lutzmannsburg and planted on a mix of loam, sandy and chalk soils, the grapes come from vineyard plantings from as old as 1934. As with all the Moric wines, there is a floral character combined with a mineral core and vibrant freshness. Red cherries combine with redcurrant and liquorice spice. The tannins are very fine with some chalkiness combined with a refreshing acidity.
