Frühburgunder is otherwise known as Pinot Precoce, and it ripens a couple of weeks before the Pinot Noir in Burgstadt's vineyards. This is wonderfully fragrant and crunchy, with a dark and brooding nature coming through on the palate. More than a simple curiosity, this is really rather good.
