The first vineyard Eva worked, with vines from 1948 onwards. Limestone here, chalk. Grey slate on chalk is very rare. Beautiful aromatics, citrus and saline, grapefruit and mineral, tons of vibrant fruit, amazing salinity. Honeysuckle, and also a touch of fresh watermelon. Lovely extract here, coats the mouth with texture and definition. Very vibrant yet not austere: impressive balance. Slightly ginger on the finish. Try a Chardonnay glass to bring the most out of this.
