This is the most pure and mineral wine in the Leitz portfolio, especially when young, thanks to the cool, quartzite soil of the Roseneck vineyard. Lovely fresh fruit on the nose, showing grapefruit, melon and pear, leading to a very mineral palate with elements of crushed shells and a certain buoyant saltiness on the finish. Delightful, delicate and wonderfully refined.
