Pale in colour, almost limpid with a flash of green. This is quite closed on the nose at present but freshness and vibrancy are clearly in evidence. A rush of mouth-watering acidity greets the palate with pure, green-apple freshness. Flavours combine citrus fruits, Granny Smith apples, a hint of green leaves and subtle exotic traces. A spätlese that displays beautiful vibrancy and precision.
