At 5.5 hectares, the site retains the warmth and the orange and fleshy peach aroma is a nod to this heat retaining site. The wine has a breadth and a concentration, yet there is a herbal note as well as a saltiness and energy that is characteristic of the vintage.
Complex nose with everything from mandarin orange and ripe melon to fresh basil, mint and tarragon notes. Still youthful, but it already shines. Elegant and filigree, as we expect from this terroir, with fine tannins discreetly underlining this. Long, delicate finish that has a stack of wild herb and wet stone minerality.
