This is where the valley opens up, quite a lot richer soils. Quite closed on the nose, but very stony, with riper notes of juniper, slightly spicy, too. quite a lot of peach fruit and also greengage, and grapefruit, with lovely texture, and excellent purity and salinity on the finish. Alcohol is 12.5%.
