Helmut’s ‘Türmchen’ Spätlese is a wonderful expression of the fruitier style of wines in this vintage. Elegant, ripe citrus fruit and orange blossom create a fabulously enticing aroma. In the mouth there is a ripe, rich quality, but this is cut through by the most incredible tension. Such a classy wine, it really should not be missed this vintage.
