Pale and bright with a slow, persistent bead in the glass. The aromas are precise, with notes of white flowers, but equally hints of red fruit allied to freshly-baked brioche. The palate combines richness with restraint this is a clean-cut style, with mineral notes. The fruit here is not overt, currently understated, typical of the structure of the Nicolas-François, with the backbone of Pinot Noir in full evidence. Fine and lingering to the finish. Very impressive.
