1998 Cuvée Dom Pérignon P2, Moët et Chandon

Our buyer Nick recently tasted the new P2 and says that the 1998 was a creamy and generous vintage which he remembers tasting when first released. This first ‘P2’ release beautifully demonstrates the reasons for late disgorgement; with extended lees ageing the wine has become more defined with an inviting nose of toasted almond, candied lemons and jasmine. It seems to have gained energy as the lees build architecture, tension balances richness and the finish seems never ending.
