Golden straw colour with a delicate bead, the nose revealing distinctive pure hazelnut cream characteristics, almost akin to toasted almond yet by no means overstated. The palate possesses an astounding smooth texture and a remarkably fine mousse – soft and expressive – with an impeccable balance and breadth of creamy fine fruit. Pure from start to finish with a strikingly pristine acidity following through. There is always a temptation to knock a great wine off its pedestal, but with quality such as this, it is foolhardy to try! An absolute classic and with great potential.
