A very gentle and controlled mousse supports a brilliant shining gold colour. The nose is wonderfully open, with hints of toffee and nuts, and in the palate the wine typically reflects the natural richness of the outstanding 1990 vintage, supported by a lovely vibrant freshness and long, textured finish. A great example of vintage champagne at its best, this is a wine of terrific stature and intensity with a fine, ripe acidity ensuring longevity.
