Cristal is the jewel in Roederer's crown. It was originally produced for Tsar Alexander II of Russia, and since then its clear bottle has become one of the world’s most iconic. It's made exclusively from the fruit of old vines in Louis Roederer’s best and biodynamically-farmed Grand Cru vineyards in Verzenay, Verzy, Beaumont-sur-Vesle, Ay, Avize, Mesnil-sur-Oger, and Cramant. The chalky soils with excellent drainage produce the most intense and crystalline flavours in their fruit (60% Pinot Noir, 40% Chardonnay). This 2014 has the structure and stature to age impeccably.
