Champagne Bollinger’s newest single vineyard rarity is out of this world in 2014. On the nose there is an incredible depth, layers of lemon marzipan, quince and smoked almond skins mingle with brioche and a chalky minerality. The palate has a remarkable texture, silky yet structured, a mastery of limestone and chalk soils. Bright acidity interplays with the creamy brioche character perfected by the long ageing process in barrel, an absolute stunner of a wine.
