2004 Cristal, Louis Roederer - Limited Edition Gift Pack

While undoubtedly visually striking, there is no doubt that this is also a supremely classy Champagne. Expressive and ethereal on the nose, with notes of crisp white fruit and a touch of something almost floral, the palate is more robust, with classic toasted brioche characters melding with the pretty florality to give a sense of structure and concentration. Long on the finish, with a lingering ripe apricot character carrying through to the very end. Lovely.
