Jacquesson's 744 is the floral, saline, and deceptively long iteration of their classic non-vintage blend, with the 2016 vintage at its heart. It is dry and incisive, with the mousse tightly wrapped around a lemon slice core of grippy acidity and concentrated, precise length. It is a blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from the finest villages of the Montagne de Reims (Aÿ, Hautvillers and Dizy) and the Côte des Blancs (Avize and Oiry). A miniscule dosage of 0.75g/l is superbly integrated with the fruit and textural body of the wine. The 744 shows the sheer quality of fruit integral to the Jacquesson style.
