Jacquesson's 743 is an outstanding wine, based on the excellent 2015 vintage. There is so much concentration and flavour in its proportions, and a sensationally long and saline finish built along the perfect ripeness of its fruit. It is a blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from the finest villages of the Montagne de Reims (Aÿ, Hautvillers and Dizy) and the Côte des Blancs (Avize and Oiry). Like most Jacquesson wines, there is no dosage added at disgorgement. The sheer quality of fruit here gives an excellently full drive, and the zero dosage finish gives it a clean and vigourous freshness, making it utterly moreish.
