This extremely rare cuvée is made from ungrafted Chardonnay vines that thrive in the sandy soils of this corner of the Vallée de la Marne. It has a beautiful purity and delicacy on the nose with a delineated palate and sumptuous depth on the palate. 2004 is an outstanding vintage for Chardonnay in Champagne, and this wine has such an enticing perfume of apricots and peaches, with a savoury and saline length making it not only one of the most interesting Champagnes you’re likely to find, but also one of the most deliciously drinkable.
