A blend of 50% Pinot Noir and 50% Chardonnay, this latest release of Cuvee Louis from Champagne Tarlant comes from a single vineyard parcel, with wines from the 2000, 1999, 1998, 1997 and 1996 vintages. The result is a supremely complex wine: one that wows with its balance of freshness and depth. There's notes of marmalade and baked apple, alongside toasted nuts and buttered brioche. The finish is long and continues to unfurl new flavours. This is stunning.
