2000 Cuvée Sir Winston Churchill, Pol Roger

Elegant on the nose, with notes of toasted brioche, white stone fruit and a subtle orchard blossom character. The palate shows weight and power, rich-textured, but balanced by a bright, mineral acidity. A core of ripe orchard fruit is melded with savoury, biscuit notes, as well as a fine vein of citrus. Absolutely stunning.
