This comes from Trias clay soils in the Arbois appellation. It undergoes a 33 month élevage in both warm and cold cellars without topping up and a thin layer of flor forms on top the the wine ("sous voile") resulting in complex, salty, nutty, sherry-like flavours. The wines has an aromatic and floral expression with a lovely mid-palate weight.
