This delicious blend of Pinot Noir, Poulsard and Trousseau showcases the best of Jura reds. It’s fairly cool up here, in the hills to the east of Burgundy, and the reds of old had been on the lean, green side. But warmer summers are lending them rounder fruit. This still comes in at a refreshing 12.5% alcohol, and carries itself with grace on the nose, and something sturdier on the palate. The style is fluid and bright, with some sweet candied strawberry notes on the nose and fine grained tannins with an earthy character beneath. Juicy and highly refreshing for a red.
