La Tourtine is a truly fine example of Tempier’s distinctive terroirs. This vineyard bathes in light from sunrise to sunset, and the sandstone and marly soils lock in enough water reserves to keep these deep-rooted old vines happy. Mourvèdre makes up 85% of the blend, and this is a superb example of its ability to deliver power and elegance.
