La Bolida is the top bottling of Château d'Or et Gueules in Costières de Nîmes, produced from the fruit of the oldest vines on the estate, which produce tiny amounts (as low as 10hl/ha) of top-quality fruit. A truly unique and wonderful wine from 100% Mourvèdre. One of the main constituents of top southern Rhône blends, Mourvèdre produces wines that are deep in colour, high in tannins, intensely perfumed and heady.
