This is a monumental wine, requiring a great deal of time in bottle before broaching. The concentration created by the low yields in 2006 is obvious, revealing fine, but structural, tannins and a great deal of complexity. Cassis fruit, dark chocolate, toasted nuts and a touch of garrigue character all come through and linger on the extremely long finish.
