2001 Minervois Cuvée Orlic, Château Cesseras
Deep in colour and rich in aroma, the nose exudes sweet plum, prune, spice and garrigue notes. The palate is sweet with a rounded feel bramble and spice fruit balanced by grippy tannins and a burst of freshness. This has plenty of gutsy fruit but also shows refinement and elegance. A wine to enjoy with the last of the winter nights and some hearty stews or casseroles.
