Hubert Brochard’s Sancerre is produced on the calcaire soils of Chavignol, a village as famous for its goat cheese as its wines. This Sancerre packs a punch with the intensity and requisite bite and race which transforms ‘just another Sauvignon Blanc’ in to a cuvée with terrific appeal. An amalgam of herbaceous, citrus and tropical nuances, this is tantalising, thirst-quenching Sancerre with the ripe texture found only in outstanding vintages.
