2011 Riesling Brand, Domaine Albert Boxler

From the warm Brand Grand Cru site, this has an aromatic nose of ripe citrus and pear, combined with intense floral notes. The palate is broad and mouth-filling, with a creamy-edged texture, ripe citrus and orchard fruit and a perfumed nature. Yet, there is a lightness of touch, with subtle stony notes and delicate lifted, spiced aromatics. A bright, steel-cut lemon note carries through onto the long and scented finish.
