2005 Pinot Blanc 'B', Albert Boxler

2005 Pinot Blanc 'B', Albert Boxler

Appley aromas here, fresh, with almost a blossomy floral edge. Barely recognisable as Pinot Blanc, the palate has much more focus, definition and race. There are some telltale creamy nuances that hint at varietal typicity, though this is offset by a scintillating acidity. In all there is an impression of vibrant apple and pear fruit, and discreet stony minerality. Very impressive and unusually a Pinot Blanc that will age well.
