This top cuvée never fails to impress and in 2011 the aromatics are simply extraordinary. Fine, fresh apricot and vanilla cream are harmoniously balanced by notes of white blossom and crushed rock minerals. The palate is full and rich with ripe stone fruits, but lifted by a bright backbone of acidity. This is a multifaceted wine, where peach and pear vie for attention alongside quince and a hint of honeyed beeswax, all of which carry through to the finish in resplendent fashion.
