It is classified as table wine as there is no category permitted for sweet wines from Vacqueyras. The nose offers fresh, tangy citrus characters, the palate is packed with glazed tropical fruits with notes of butterscotch, caramel and toasted nut. Luscious, ripe, tangy with a marked frehsness to finish, this is an extraordinary wine, a serious wine that makes you wonder why no-one else has looked at botrytised Grenache Blanc.
