Also beautiful, the 2015 Crozes Hermitage Gaby possess similar aromatics of black and blue fruits, graphite and wood smoke, yet has more elegance and purity on the palate than the Crozes Hermitage Domaine. It too has ripe tannin and will evolve gracefully.
Fruit from Mercurol, all destemmed, aged for 12 months in demi-muids. Smoky bacon, violets, blackberries and blueberries. Very full-bodied, densely packed, but with driving, complex fruit that will bring serious interest and pleasure far into the future. Wonderfully soft, fine tannins, deep fruit and incredible vibrancy. This is a knock-out Crozes.
