2013 Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Domaine du Vieux Télégraphe

Whilst slightly closed at this very early stage of youth, the nose is still very attractive with excellent freshness, typical of the 2013s. On the palate, a good structure with verdant, fresh fruit and a slightly salty tang. The length is superb, whilst the wonderful balance ensures that this is an incredibly well-organised wine, built for the long-haul.

2013 Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Domaine du Vieux Télégraphe
Frédéric et Daniel Brunier

Brothers Daniel and Frédéric Brunier took over Domaine du Vieux Télégraphe, one of the largest in Châteauneuf-du-Pape with seventy hectares under vine, from their father Henri. While he recently passed away, they continue his work cultivating their prized parcel on ‘La Crau,’ considered one of the top sites in the region. Rightfully so, these wines are some of the most recognised Châteauneufs.
