The Hermitage chez Domaine du Colombier exhibits stunning richness on the mid-palate, yet its aromatics are very pretty, beautifully dark fruit with hints of spice and meaty, savoury character. The texture is gorgeously silky and creamy and waves of flavours keep on washing up one's palate on the multi-layered finish. This is very serious.
