Notes of plumand dark cherries combine with a faint savoury mushroom aroma; floral notes of heather and violets come through in the background. Beautiful plumand blackcurrant flavours, juicy and fresh with a wonderful burst of acidity on the finish; the whole wine is soft and rounded on the palate, with well integrated velvet-tannins. Balanced, this is a wonderfully simple wine, yet with an underlying power on the seemingly endless finish.
