Juicy damson fruit comes to the fore in this excellent Grenache-dominant village Châteauneuf. Very fine, pure and fragrant on the nose, the fruit is jammy but fresh with dark berries and notes of liquorice. On the palate, it is more savoury and serious with very attractive densely-textured tannins and vibrant acidity.
