Named in honour of winemaker Florent Viale’s father, this cuvée is a blend of 60-year-old vines from the best sites across the appellation and is aged in demi-muid oak barrels, resulting in an incredibly generous wine. It is deep, intense and inky, displaying aromatic dark fruit, blackberries and superb concentration. Serious but supple on the palate, the tannins are thick and dense with notes of pepper and very attractive sweet spice on the finish.
