2010 Côte-Rôtie, Bernard Burgaud

The nose displays rich, deep and smoky blueberries, supported by creamy, sweet oak. On the palate, this has excellent weight and superb freshness and the fruit is both complex and elegant. The sophisticated oak is wonderfully integrated with plum and dark cherry, combined with a deeper, meatier character. The finish is fine, long and expressive; perfectly harmonious. M. Burgaud described the 2010 cuvée as his favourite vintage to date.
