Breathtakingly pure fruit shines through in this top cuvée, which benefits from the wonderful fragrant, floral effect of the tiny proportion of Viognier in the blend. Richer still than its Landonne neighbour, the concentration is deep and sweet, with firm but silky tannins. Dark, heady blueberries combine with lavender on the palate; this is a delicious, feminine wine with real nerve, elegance and a spectacularly attractive finish. True Côte-Rôtie pedigree.
